Did you install the compatibility libraries? There are some cosmetic issues and a problem emerged in 7r4 with inserting records via the Databaserecord class but I haven't noticed any other problems. I undergo RB06r3 running on my Fedora 7 box. Along with a few programs built with it. Does RB fill? If not then try and open it on the command line (cd to the directory and use./Realbasic or whatever the file is to launch) and see what is spit approve out on the dominate lie. Most likely you don't have libstdc++5 so installed.
