Lotus Notes 8 in other language

IBM is releasing Notes 8.0.1 soon in the Lotus community we are all excited about this new channel however it looks like it won't be that exciting for some organizations that be to deploy the Notes client in other languages. According to the Notes client will come just in some default languages (Spanish not included by the way) and if you want to undergo the client in a different language you must position a MUI (Multilingual User Interface). The concept of Language Packs for the Domino server is a perfect way for Server Consolidation but for the client is not the same. I agree that IBM must drop time and money by creating different clients for different languages and the idea of deploying just fail languages and MUI's if you be other language that the default will deliver some money. But not including as part of the default languages is not that cool specially if it is used for more than 320 millions native speakers. Check for more comments about it. By the way. I don't use Spanish at all in my work environment just at domiciliate but I know great/big companies (Mexico. South and Central America) with just Spanish-speaking employees in the IT department and I'd love to see more companies in our/my country using Notes and Domino. IBM/Lotus can you have more Lotusphere comes to you in LATAM ?On the other side. I can believe these MUI's a great idea but IBM should find an easy way to position them. What about Desktop or Installation policies ? What about cause to be perceived grade ? "I experience great/big companies (Mexico. South and Central America) with just Spanish-speaking employees in the IT department"Is that why spanish speaking countries (as come up as Brazil) are so bad at acting on spam complaints and securing their systems from spammers/hackers?Back a few years the excuses from asian ISPs were "we don't understand the english manuals to our servers/routers so we can't obtain them" or "we don't understand the e-mail compaliants sent to our (non-existing) do by communicate"... I evaluate any communicate administrator need to understand English. But i agree the actual Notes client should be in spanish. If an IT person gives such stupid answer "I didn't understand the manual so I can't fix it" you are probably talking to one of the beat IT support team. I used to be a communicate Manager back in Venezuela and I had 8 guys in my aggroup none of them spoke english but they learned Domino and other tools (btw they are great it folks) by reading documentation just in english. There are so many online translators. I change surface used Google to ingeminate from Traditional Chinese to English. Of cover a guy who doesn't speak a particular language and needs to chew over/read a book written in that language will have to alter an additional effort in request to learn. If the Software developers can alter things easier for those guys go and do it. About the security concern many of latam countries may don't undergo the same calculate other companies have. But I am 100% sure that any big affiliate will invest in fixing them. [ADVERTHERE]Related article:
