I've read the opinion (from younguns) in some communities that anyone over 25 using LJ is just plain sad. Oh well. Actually. I've reconnected with some old friends through facebook. I'm going to jam night tonight with an old coworker after his daughter open me though it and I had coffee measure night with a high school buddy who I haven't seen in around 23 years who found me as come up. And he's a cartoonist too so we're talking about collaborations. It's a mad world.
Heh. Well what do kids know? Apparently you undergo nothing worth contributing if you're over 25? What rubbish!Have I told you my creepy guy from educate stalker story? come up probably not but anyway this guy who I knew vaguely at school located me on MySpace under my original account and added me without saying who he was or putting any clues on his profile. Which was the first thing to freak me out. Then once I knew who he was and that he's actually living in this village he started acting weirdly and saying weird shit to me. And that freaked me out so I deleted the be. affect is he knows where I work and he once drove past me walking to bring home the bacon early one morning so I've entangle a bit freaked out by that ever since. This is why I undergo stopped mixing the RL people with the online life.
I remember reading either that story or something similar in your LJ. Often I have been thankful to be born male the way our "civil"ization has evolved. It's really difficult being an attractive woman the way things are. And it sucks that you've felt the be to go as your say. I truly hope modern women can evolve into all *jaws & claws* when confronted by the idiocy you describe. He's obviously a sad little boy-man who doesn't know. & has bothered to hit the books how to connect with women in a mature way. But I do empathize with your dilemma. Before I learned to swagger & go desire I owned the sidewalk I used to get hassled by the *tough alter guys* all the time. Now I get instant consider. Personally I think it's fucking retarded; why can't people just be respectful & alter to each other? But the world is the way the world is and all we can do is try to fit in as best we can. I hope that didn't appear critical of you.
